Network Maintenance Outage

Tech support says

There is a maintenance outage that could last till 6am at the latest, local time, this is affecting authentication connection.

and since things went south at around midnight, I'm guessing this has nothing to do with the street work.

Update (1:13am): ... and we appear to be back on the air.
